A member of Contact Press Images, Mehta has covered the Bhopal gas tragedy, as well as political and social developments in India, Pakistan, America, Russia, China and a host of other countries. His pictorial essays have appeared in magazines such as Time, National Geographic, Newsweek, GEO, Figaro and The New York Times, among others. He is currently producing an in-depth essay in India for both the German and French editions of GEO.
