Born in Buenos Aires in 1946, Goldberg has been working as a photojournalist since 1971, mainly with the Sygma (now Corbis) photo agency. His work has appeared regularly in most major news magazines, and he has participated in many book projects, including most of the Day in the Life series. He has received several awards for an ongoing series of portraits of his family called "The Arrow of Time," begun in 1976. After many years in Paris and New York, he now lives in Argentina and is director of photography at the Clarin newspaper.
