2005 Annual Federal Leave Chart

Here is the 2005 leave calendar for federal workers. The holidays observed by the government are shown with an "H." Weekends are shown in gray. The chart can be used for vacation planning and to keep track of annual and sick leave.

NOTE: The 2005 leave year for most federal employees begins Jan. 9, 2005, and ends at midnight Jan. 7, 2006. The leave year for postal workers starts Jan. 8, 2005, and ends Jan. 6, 2006.

* A federal employee who works in the District of Columbia, Montgomery or Prince George's counties in Maryland, Arlington or Fairfax counties in Virginia, and who is regularly scheduled to perform non-overtime work on Inauguration Day, is entitled to a holiday.
