Arizona GOP Does McCain No Favors

Arizona Sen. John McCain may have suffered a small setback in his expected bid for the Republican presidential nomination last weekend, when his state's GOP leaders voted against his wishes to move the 2000 primary to mid-March. McCain had hoped to avoid the risk of losing an expensive homestate fight in February, before the decisive California primary in early March.
 "He knows I'm not going to veto it. Because I would never veto anything he really wanted to do."
