Abortion Opponents Attack Bush's Position

Texas Gov. George W. Bush (R) stumbled into the abortion mine field Monday after granting rare individual interviews to reporters from national media outlets. Although he said he would favor a constitutional amendment outlawing most abortions, abortion foes criticized the likely presidential candidate for taking a soft stance on the issue.
 "America is not ready to overturn Roe v. Wade because America's hearts are not right."
