After working with state GOP lawmakers to craft a bill that would have required women seeking abortions to receive state-mandated information and wait 24 hours before the procedure, Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura on Friday vetoed the measure. There do not appear to be enough votes to override his veto. Similar measures have been passed in more than a dozen states.
"Repair will be necessary, as in all relationships, in all of life."
