SPOTLIGHT ON...

NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory Jet Propulsion Laboratory
NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory brings you the latest on the potential for a disastrous collision with the 1997 XF11 asteroid and fact sheets on other famous astronomical encounters. The site also features information on NASA missions currently underway including the Mars Pathfinder and Voyager projects, and "preprojects" such as the Pluto-Kuiper Express. JPL also provides information on the origin of the universe, an image archive, and a planetary photojournal. Children can visit the Kids Corner or put together their own Cassini or Pathfinder spacecraft.
