U.S Mint: New Dollar Coin
Concerned citizens can voice their opinions on an important national issue until Dec. 28: the U.S Mint's new dollar coin design featuring Sacagawea, the famous Shoshone Indian guide. The mint's Web site offers seven different front and back proposals, all designed by Sante Fe artist Glenna Goodacre, and encourages users to submit comments on which is their favorite. Historical background on Sacagawea and a summary of the Dollar Coin Act are also available.
