SPOTLIGHT ON...

Plain Language Action Network
logo You won't find any gobbledygook on the Plain Language Action Network's Web site. As part of Vice President Al Gore's effort to trim government wordiness, this site offers examples of letters, manuals and regulations that boast simple writing. Some of the site is just "plain" funny, like Nine Easy Steps to Longer Sentences and How To Write Good. Serious site resources include a how-to guide and reference library.
