Smithsonian Secretary Lawrence M. Small spent nearly $850,000 between 2000 and 2005. This list shows how he spent about $160,000 to redecorate his office suite and administrative work area and about $130,000 to replace what a spokeswoman said was "threadbare" carpeting in the administrative east wing of the Smithsonian castle.
