Mueller's Travels

FBI Director Robert S. Mueller III has flown a $40 million Gulfstream V jet that is dedicated to counterterrorism work to more than three dozen locations in the past five years. Mueller's destinations include 22 cities around the United States, and 16 abroad. The FBI acquired the aircraft in 2001 for the narrow mission of moving FBI personnel and terrorism suspects anywhere in the world on short notice, but Mueller's trips now account for nearly a quarter of its use.
