Monday, October 4, 2004 | | | | The Washington Post tracking poll will be conducted daily until Election Day. The latest tracking result represents the three-night average of data collected Oct. 1 - 3 among 1,169 self-identified likely voters from a randomly selected nationwide sample. The Post and ABC News collect data jointly but are responsible for developing their own methods to identify likely voters. This may produce slightly different estimates of candidate support. The margin of sampling error for overall results is plus or minus 3 percentage points, and slightly larger for subsamples.
