Washington Post Poll
This Washington Post poll was conducted by telephone September 19 to 23, 2012, among a random sample of 1,107 adults in Florida and 1,101 adults in Ohio. Interviews were conducted on conventional and cellular telephones, and carried out in English and Spanish by Abt-SRBI of New York. The results from the full Florida and Ohio samples have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points. The margin of error is four points for the samples of 925 registered voters in Florida and 934 voters in Ohio; it is 4.5 points for the samples of 769 likely voters in Florida and 4.5 points for the sample of 759 likely voters in Ohio.
