This Washington Post-ABC News poll was conducted by telephone July 5 to 8, 2012, among a random national sample of 1,003 adults, including landline and cell phone-only respondents. Results for the full sample have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus four percentage points and a four point error margin for the sample of 855 registered voters.
