Washington Post-Pew Research Center Poll

This Washington Post-Pew Research Center poll was conducted by telephone June 9 to 12, 2011, among a random national sample of 1,002 adults, including users of both conventional and cellular phones. The results from the full survey have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points. Sampling, data collection and tabulation by Princeton Survey Research Associates International (PSRAI) of Princeton, NJ.

1. In recent years, there have been a number of sex scandals involving elected officials. Why is this do you think (elected officials have lower moral standards than ordinary Americans) or do you think (elected officials just get caught more often because they are under greater scrutiny)?
