Washington Post-Pew Research Center Poll

This Washington Post-Pew Research Center poll was conducted by telephone June 16 to 19, 2011, among a random national sample of 1,003 adults, including users of both conventional and cellular phones. The results from the full survey have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points. Sampling, data collection and tabulation by Princeton Survey Research Associates International (PSRAI) of Princeton, NJ.

1. As you may know, unless Congress and the president can agree to raise the federal debt limit soon, the government will not be able to borrow more money to fund its operations and pay its debts.
