This Washington Post poll was conducted by telephone September 22-26, 2010, among a random sample of 1,448 adult residents of Maryland, including 1,196 registered voters and 730 likely voters. Interviews were conducted on both conventional and cellular phones, and in English and Spanish. The results from the full survey have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus three percentage points; it is 3.5 points for the registered voter sample and four points for likely voters. Sampling, data collection and tabulation by Abt SRBI, Inc of New York, NY.
