This Washington Post poll was conducted by telephone October 19-22, 2010, among a random sample of 2,355 adult residents of Maryland, including 1,962 registered voters and 1,434 likely voters. Interviews were conducted on both conventional and cellular phones, and in English and Spanish. The results from the full survey have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 2.5 percentage points; it is three points for the registered voter and likely voter samples. Sampling, data collection and tabulation by Abt SRBI, Inc of New York, NY.
