Washington Post-ABC News Poll

The latest Washington Post- ABC News poll is based on telephone interviews with 1,457 self-identified registered voters nationwide, and was conducted between October 6-9, 2000. A total of 826 likely voters were identified, estimating roughly a 50 percent turnout. The margin of error for registered and likely voters is plus or minus 3 percentage points. Some results are based on only part of the total sample of registered voters, and have a slightly higher margin of error.
