Washington Post-ABC News Poll: The Pope and the Catholic Church Wednesday, October 15, 2003 The latest Washington Post-ABC News poll is based on telephone interviews with 1,000 randomly selected adults nationwide, and was conducted Oct. 9-13, 2003. Questions about the Catholic church are based on interviews with 1,281 respondents, including an oversample of 281 Catholics. The 'Catholics only' results are thus based on a total of 504 interviews. Results representing the general public in this section were adjusted to reflect the country's actual religious distribution. The margin of sampling error for overall results is plus or minus 3 percentage points, and plus or minus 4 percentage points for results based on Catholics. Sampling error is only one of many potential sources of error in this or any other public opinion poll. Interviewing was conducted by TNS Intersearch of Horsham, Pa. *= less than 0.5 percent 1. For each item I name, please tell me if you personally find it morally acceptable or morally unacceptable. 10/13/03 - Summary table
