Key Player: Gennifer Flowers Click on linked names to read about other key players, or see the full list. A former television reporter, Arkansas state employee and part-time nightclub singer, Flowers has said for years that she had a 12-year affair with President Clinton during his career in Arkansas. Clinton denied that claim during the 1992 presidential campaign, but, according to sources, reversed himself during his January 17 deposition in the Paula Jones lawsuit. In her own March 12 contribution to the Paula Jones case, Flowers declared under oath that she and Clinton had a sexual relationship for 12 years.
