Roll Call of Senate Vote On Dismissal
Wednesday, January 27, 1999 The 56-44 roll call by which the Senate voted to reject a motion to dismiss the charges against President Clinton and end his impeachment trial. On this vote, a "yes" vote was a vote to dismiss the charges and a "no" vote was a vote to keep it going. Voting "no" were 55 Republicans and 1 Democrat – Sen. Russ Feingold (D-Wis.). Voting "yes" were 44 Democrats.
