The 50-50 roll call by which the Senate voted to reject the article of impeachment alleging that President Clinton obstructed justice in an attempt to delay, impede, cover up and conceal evidence in the Paula Jones sexual harassment lawsuit. A two-thirds vote – 67 – was needed to convict.

Voting "guilty" were 50 Republicans. Voting "not guilty" were 45 Democrats and five Republicans.
