Two years ago, a malfunctioning anti-terrorist barricade at the Mall entrance of the Pentagon popped up under a limo carrying Japanese Defense Minister Fukushiro Nukaga, crashing into the limo's underside and lifting it four feet off the ground. Nukaga suffered a sprained ankle, and Defense Secretary William S. Cohen visited him in the hospital to apologize for the faulty sensor problem.
