Prices fell 11 percent in part of South Arlington, the county’s least expensive neighborhood. The big jump in Zip code 22209, which includes Rosslyn, is because the neighborhood has a mix of small and big homes, and thus the median swings widely. In Alexandria, prices rose 5 percent in the already-pricey Zip code that includes Old Town.
