| | A Basement Even the so-called "perfect house," is likely to have a blemish -- a room or space that drives you crazy -- here or there. For Darelynn Fung and Bret Goldstein of Berwyn Heights, Md., it's their basement. Unhappy with its paneled walls, lack of storage and low ceilings, they want a cozier space to host family and friends. They hope to create a fun area that can be used to entertain adults while, in a nod to practicality, incorporating moveable storage units to prevent clutter. Looking for fresh ideas to update their space, the couple submitted their problem room to Designer Solutions. Lisa Adams of Washington, D.C.-based design firm Adams Design Inc., proposed an update to their entertainment area.
