How the new iPad Mini stacks up

The iPad Mini, announced Tuesday, is a more compact, lighter version of the iPad, with a 7.9-inch screen. Compared to similar tablets such as the Kindle Fire, Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and Google’s Nexus 7, it has a similar screen resolution with a better camera. But its price comes in above the competition.
