D.C. temperatures headed for single-digit lows
After several years of mild winters, the D.C. area is witnessing two bursts of brutally cold weather this month. Temperatures could plunge as low as 7 degrees tonight as a second cold snap hits the region. Since 1990, D.C. has experienced lows in the single digits only five times. Friday brought the first cold snap, with temperatures about 10 degrees below normal.
On Monday night, temperatures could fall
as low as 7 degrees.
