Tracking Snowden’s asylum requests
Russian authorities issued documents Thursday granting Edward Snowden temporary asylum for up to one year, and he has left the transit zone at Moscow's international airport. According to the anti-secrecy group WikiLeaks, Snowden has also sought refuge in the following countries. Read related article.
Snowden has been granted temporary asylum in Russia and has left the Moscow airport where he had been stranded since June 23.
