In Jordan, an expanding refugee camp
The number of Syrian refugees has grown significantly in the winter months. The 1,000-acre Zaatari refugee camp in northern Jordan was home to more than 146,000 individuals as of March 4. The number of shelters grew from 2,400 in September to more than 18,000 on Feb. 3. Read related article.
