On an night's when baseball's
past, present and future paid homage to Ted Williams, the
man considered the game's greatest hitter, Boston's Pedro Martinez pitched himself into the
All-Star Game record book Tuesday by
striking out the first four hitters and leading the American League over the
Nationals, 4-1.
Sheinin: Joy of All-Star Game Is Gone
The Post's Dave Sheinin, in an online discussion Tuesday, said that the modern star is less inclined to participate and enjoy the All-Star Game and its festivities.
