Florida Wins Its First National Title
After their 52-20 victory over Florida State in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 2, 1997, Florida was awarded its first national title. Ohio State finished No. 2, followed by Florida State. Nebraska, which won the title in 1994 and '95, was sixth. Take a look back at the '96 bowl report.
