    Dameyune Craig engineered three scoring drives in the fourth quarter on Friday to rally Auburn from an 11-point deficit to a 21-17 victory over Clemson in Atlanta.

    Florida State Continues Bowl Mastery
    No. 4 Florida State recovered from a slow start Thursday and went on to its 12th victory in its past 13 bowl appearances, a 31-14 decision over No. 9 Ohio State. Quarterback Thad Busby led the Seminoles to two touchdowns late in the first half to spark the victory.

    North Carolina might not have been a bowl alliance team, but it played like one on Thursday, crushing Virginia Tech, 42-3.

    COTTON BOWL
    UCLA Rallies to Victory
    No. 5 UCLA rallied from a 16-point deficit on Thursday to defeat Texas A&M, 29-23.

    OUTBACK BOWL
    Georgia Routs Wisconsin
    Robert Edwards ran for three touchdowns to lead Georgia to a 33-6 rout of Wisconsin.

    Florida Wins Its First National Title
    After their 52-20 victory over Florida State in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 2, 1997, Florida was awarded its first national title. Ohio State finished No. 2, followed by Florida State. Nebraska, which won the title in 1994 and '95, was sixth. Take a look back at the '96 bowl report.
