Ullrich Completes Historic Tour Victory

Jan Ullrich (pictured) on Sunday became the first German to win the Tour de France, cycling's showcase event, finishing 9 minutes and 9 seconds ahead of France's Richard Virenque in the 21-stage, 2,455-mile race. The margin of victory was the largest since Laurent Fignon won by 10:32 in 1984. Ullrich, 23, is the eighth-youngest winner in the 94-year history of the race.
