14th Hole Header Graphic

Description: A hole-in-one on a par-4? It's been done on this little beauty. Two ponds and a creek come into play, this time on the right side of the fairway and green. A series of bunkers guard the left side of the green.

How Pros Play the Hole: At 301 yards from an elevated tee, this hole may see many players able to drive the green. But they will need an accurate shot to do it. Any tee shot hit left will leave the pro with a very difficult pitch to the green. Ponds and a creek are ready to catch any tee shot hit right. The pros will expect to birdie this hole.

Most Troublesome Hazards: Bunkers to the left of the green and ponds to the right of it.

Toughest Pin Placement: Back left of the green, near the bunkers.

Fred Funk's Take: "Most guys play irons off the tee and just set up for a full sand wedge into the green. But every now and then, you get the guys with the right conditions who will try to drive the green. I've even tried to drive it a few times. It's not a smart play. There's no place to miss it. You're either on or you're in the creek or you're in the left bunker. Really, the best play is not to be suckered into going for that one."
