Hole Diagram

8th Hole Header Graphic

Description: This rolling par-4 has a downslope just past the tee-shot landing area. Bunkers on both sides of the fairway come into play on drives. Deep bunkers also guard the green on the front left and front right.

How Pros Play the Hole: Pros must hit their shots to the right side of the fairway about 260 to 270 yards out. Should they stray from the fairway, they risk landing in one of the two fairway bunkers.

Most Troublesome Hazards: Fairway bunkers and deep bunker on the front left of the green.

Toughest Pin Placement: Extreme left of green, just over the bunker.

Fred Funk's Take: "Another really great par-4. You've got to hit a good drive that sets you up. There's a lot of trouble out there. It's a pretty big fairway, but they have that bunker on the left side. If you get in that, you're pretty much dead. It's hard to get close to the pin when it's protected over there on that left side by the bunker."
