DB Stefon Diggs

Good Counsel / 6-1, 190 / Senior

Repeat All-Met was a threat on nearly every play as Falcons went 12-0 and won third consecutive Washington Catholic Athletic Conference title. At cornerback, Diggs was seventh on the team with 31.5 tackles (5.5 for losses), intercepted four passes, broke up 10 passes and forced three fumbles. On offense, he caught 36 passes for 770 yards and eight touchdowns, while rushing 17 times for 277 yards and three touchdowns. Also returned a punt and a kickoff for touchdowns. Repeat All-Met remained a dominant pass rusher, with 102 tackles (79 first hits), 15 sacks and seven blocked kicks. Video

Centreville / 6-3, 245 / Sr.

Led Wildcats to Va. AAA Div. 6 title game, racking up 72 tackles, 18 sacks and 32 QB pressures. Also caught eight TD passes. Video

DeMatha transfer made immediate impact, with 151 tackles, 9 batted passes, 8 forced fumbles, 4 sacks, 3 interceptions. Video

DL Michael Moore

DeMatha / 6-4, 255 / Sr.

The defensive end had 91 tackles (21 for loss), 11 sacks, six forced fumbles. Will play for Virginia. Video

LB Alex Figueroa

Brooke Point / 6-4, 215 / Sr.

Two-way standout was in on 107 tackles (74 solo) with 11 for loss, nine sacks. Caught 54 passes for 612 yards and six TDs.

LB Sam Lebbie

DeMatha / 6-2, 245 / Sr.

The rangy West Virginia recruit had 79 tackles (15 for loss) and eight sacks. Also forced seven fumbles. Video

DL Da'Shawn Hand

Woodbridge / 6-5, 245 / So.

Was a force with 84 tackles (14 for loss) and 21 sacks, recovered three fumbles as team allowed 13.7 ppg. Video

LB Dorian O'Daniel

Good Counsel / 6-1, 205 / Jr.

Two-way standout had 38.5 tackles (15.5 for loses) and five sacks. Also rushed for 897 yards, 17 TDs for area's No. 1 team.

LB Shawn Petty

Eleanor Roosevelt / 6-3, 225 / Sr.

U-Md. recruit had 51 tackles, five sacks. Forced three fumbles for 10-1 team. At QB, passed for 1,244 yards, 15 TDs. Video

LB Devin Vandyke

South County / 6-2, 200 / Sr.

Va. Tech recruit had 96 tackles (15.5 for loss), 4.5 sacks, three forced fumbles as team made it to Va. AAA Div. 5 final. Video

DB Kenneth Crawley

H.D. Woodson / 6-1, 170 / Sr.

Tennessee recruit was a shutdown corner, with 43 tackles, five interceptions. Had four touchdown catches and returned two kicks for touchdowns. Video

DB Kendall Fuller

Good Counsel / 6-0, 180 / Jr.

Two-way standout intercepted three passes and made 25.5 tackles. Also caught 26 passes for 527 yards and five TDs.

Coach Dave Mencarini

Quince Orchard

Cougars went undefeated in the regular season for the third time in five seasons, advancing to the Maryland 4A championship game before losing in overtime. Guided the Darnestown school to the playoffs in each of his eight seasons, including seven consecutive regional final appearances. Former Rockville High wide receiver has a career record of 85-14 with one state title (2007).
