The speedster enjoyed one of the finest seasons ever by an area player, setting a Maryland single-season record with 49 touchdowns. Led the region in rushing with 2,701 yards, including a stretch in which he rushed for more than 200 yards in five consecutive games. Rushed for 312 yards and seven touchdowns in a Maryland 4A semifinal victory over Catonsville and then had the game-winning two-point conversion in overtime of the championship game as the Patriots beat Quince Orchard, 36-35, to win their second state title in three seasons.
