F Margaret 'Midge' Purce
Good Counsel / Junior
With a potent mix of speed and skills, Purce played at a pace defenses couldn't keep up with this fall. The forward finished with 30 goals and 17 assists for the top-ranked Falcons, becoming the first junior to earn fall girls' soccer All-Met Player of the Year honors since O'Connell's Annie Murphy in 1991. The two-time WCAC Player of the Year led a dynamic attack that averaged more than four goals per game and helped Good Counsel win its first 19 matches of the season. In three seasons, she has 74 goals - good for fourth in program history - and 35 assists. Video: Purce is a dynamic scorer
