The N.C. State recruit had 18 points and 13 boards in a Jan. 5 victory against Gill St. Bernard's (N.J.).

G Aquille Carr

Princeton Day, 5-7, Sr.

Speedy Seton Hall recruit has scored at least 33 points in his last four games, helping him average an area-high 27.8 points per game.

G Nick Griffin

Magruder, 6-2, Sr.

The GW recruit has responded with back-court mate J.J. Epps (hand) out, averaging 20.5 points and seven rebounds in a pair of victories this week.

F Kris Jenkins

Gonzaga, 6-6, Sr.

Jenkins dominated at the Cancer Research Classic in West Virginia, recording 31 points and 12 rebounds against Salesian (Calif.).

G Calvin Lovitt

Central, 5-9, Sr.

Had 32 points in Friday's 81-63 win over Surrattsville, which kept the surprising Falcons tied atop the Prince George's 3A/2A/1A standings.

G Michael Anderson

Loudoun County, 5-10, Sr.

Anderson eclipsed the 1,000-point mark for his standout career with a 31-point game in a home win Friday over Woodgrove.

G/F Charles Ekeanyanwu

DuVal, 6-0, Sr.

Netted a season-high 36 points and 10 rebounds in a Jan. 4 win against Parkdale before tallying 19 points and eight boards in a victory over St. Paul's.

F Brian Sydnor

Chantilly, 6-4, Sr.

Sydnor has been impressive of late, averaging 27.7 points over the Chargers' last three games, including a 22-point performance in a win against Westfield Friday.

G/F Dion Wiley

Potomac (Md.), 6-4, Jr.

The athletic swingman drilled five three-pointers in a 20-point effort Friday, helping the Wolverines knock off perennial power Largo, 81-66, for their third straight victory.

G Marquis Wright

North Point, 6-1, Sr.

In his only game this week, the Loyola (Md.) recruit had 23 points, seven assists, six rebounds and three steals in a 94-60 win over Waldorf rival Westlake.

Allen continues to dominate during St. John's 13-0 start, including a 28-point showing in a 77-47 win over Elizabeth Seton last week.

G Tasia Butler

North Point, 6-1, Sr.

The Eagles are 9-0, and Butler (19 ppg) is the centerpiece. The Syracuse commit has scored a combined 38 points in two straight wins, both over Westlake.

F Amanda Fioravanti

Good Counsel, 6-2, Sr.

Fioravanti has averaged 20.3 points in Good Counsel's last three wins, and is shooting 76 percent from the foul line.

G Ariana Freeman

Paul VI Catholic, 5-11, Jr.

Freeman has kept up her scoring production (19.8 ppg), and is the catalyst behind the Panthers 13-0 start.

F Amber Porter

Potomac (Va.), 6-3, Sr.

Porter dominated in Friday's win over Freedom-Woodbridge, scoring 23 points and grabbing 14 rebounds to help Potomac to its third straight win.

F Natalie Butler

Lake Braddock, 6-4, Sr.

Butler scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in Friday's 42-33 win over South County, and has led the Bruins to three straight wins.

F Nicole Floyd

Stonewall Jackson, 6-2, Jr.

Floyd, who is averaging 19.4 points per game, has proven to be one of the most versatile players in the region, and the Raiders have won three straight.

F Elizabeth Manner

Oakton, 6-1, Sr.

Manner has been dominant in the paint so far this winter, and has scored 25 points or more in eight of 13 games.

G Breyana Mason

Forest Park, 5-9, Sr.

Mason (24.9 ppg) missed three games in late December due to injury, but returned on Friday and scored 24 points in a loss against Highland Springs.

F Kelli Prange

Damascus, 6-4, Jr.

Has been a model in consistency on both ends of the floor for the undefeated Swarmin' Hornets (11-0), and scored 14 points in win over Seneca Valley Friday.
