Derrickson earned tournament MVP honors at the Bass Pro Tournament of Champions, scoring 23 points in the championship.

F Kris Jenkins

Gonzaga, 6-6, Sr.

Jenkins showed his inside-outside ability by scoring a game-high 23 points in Thursday's win against rival DeMatha.

G Nigel Johnson

Riverdale Baptist, 6-1, Sr

Dropped a season-high 39 points, including five three-pointers, to help the Crusaders beat rival National Christian.

G Melo Trimble

O'Connell, 6-2, Jr.

The Maryland recruit impressed in two losses this past weekend, scoring 33 vs. Cathedral Prep (Pa.).

F Ishmail Wainright

Montrose Christian, 6-6, Sr.

Posted his second straight double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds in a loss to nationally ranked St. Benedict's Prep (N.J.).

Had 19 points and six assists in Tuesday's win at Surrattsville and has averaged 18 points during the Wolverines' eight-game win streak.

F Randy Haynes

Potomac (Va.), 6-3, Sr.

In win against AAA Cardinal District rival Gar-Field, Haynes had 29 points. Has scored 20-plus points in six of the last eight games.

G Franklin Howard

Paul VI, 6-4, So.

Howard had a game-high 24 points to top national power Montverde (Fla.) in the final of Bass Pro Tournament of Champions.

Watkins Mill, 6-4, Sr.

Montgomery County's leading scorer at 19.9 points per game, Sotomayor posted a career-high 40 points vs. Seneca Valley.

Bullis, 5-8, Sr.

Despite running the point for the Panthers, Colston's scoring production (15.8) has been consistent this week.

Paul VI, 5-11, Jr.

Freeman scored 27 points in a blowout nonconference win over Coolidge Saturday, and the Panthers (19-0) are atop the WCAC.

G Janee Harris

Crossland, 5-6, Jr.

Harris has averaged 25.3 points per game in the Cavaliers' current four-game winning streak, including 33 in a win over Surrattsville.

F Amber Porter

Potomac (Va.), 6-3, Sr.

Has recorded a double-double in five straight, including a 29-point, 18-rebound performance in a win over Gar-Field.

G Lindsey Spann

Good Counsel, 5-7, Sr.

Spann had her best game of the season in a win over St. John's Friday, scoring 15 of her 20 in the third quarter to lift the Falcons.

Addison has been a force during Wootton's current three game-winning streak, and scored 17 in a win over Richard Montgomery Friday.

G Lindsay Allen

St. John's, 5-7, Sr.

Averaged 16 points in two games last week against Holy Cross and Good Counsel, and is shooting 76 percent from the free throw line.

G Erin Blaine

H.D. Woodson, 5-9, Jr.

Blaine has registered a double-double in three of her last four games, and scored 31 points in a win over School Without Walls last week.

F Amanda Fioravanti

Good Counsel, 6-1, Sr.

Fioravanti has been at her best late in games, and scored nine of the Falcons' 15 fourth-quarter points in a win over St. John's Friday.

F Elizabeth Manner

Oakton, 6-1, Sr.

Manner has been key during Oakton's four-game winning streak, and poured in 37 points vs. Centreville Friday.
