The Northern Region player of the year, a 6-4 Georgetown signee, averaged a triple-double of 26.2 points, 17.8 rebounds and 10 blocks.

The Northwest Region player of the year and 6-2 Wake Forest recruit led team in scoring (18.9 ppg), rebounds (11) and blocks (2.2).

The 5-foot-9 Virginia signee set the Prince William County scoring record with 1,979 career points and was state Ga­tor­ade player of year.

The 5-6 Penn State signee returned from a foot injury to pace the Falcons with 15.9 points per game and lead the team in assists.

In winning a third straight Maryland 2A title, the 5-6 Drexel recruit set the Calvert County career scoring record with 1,975 points.

The 5-foot-9 floor general led her team in scoring and was an all-tourney pick at the Nike Tournament of Champions.

Coach of the Year: LaBryan Thomas

George Mason

In his five seasons as coach at the city of Falls Church school, the Mustangs have gone 121-25 with five trips to the Virginia A Division 2 semifinals and three state championships. Eighteen of those 25 losses were to private schools or to schools in a higher classification, including six AAA opponents. This season, with senior forward Stephanie Cheney as the lone returning starter, the Mustangs reached the state semifinals.
