2012 FALL ALL-MET

Girls’ Soccer

F Margaret ‘Midge' Purce

Good Counsel / Senior

A constant torment for area defenders the past four years, Purce closed out one of the most decorated careers in area history in style. The lightning-quick forward netted 27 goals in 15 games, including a pair in the WCAC final to give the Falcons their third conference title in four years. The Harvard commit finished her career with a program-record 101 goals and 39 assists and joins O'Connell's Annie Murphy (1991-92) as the only two-time fall girls' soccer All-Met Players of the Year. She also represented the United States at the U-17 Women's World Cup in September.
