RUNNER OF THE YEAR
Sharif Karie

Senior
All-Met Runner of the Year last season.
Undefeated in Northern Region for second consecutive season. Broke own course record en route to winning Northern Region championships at Burke Lake.
Won Va. AAA title for second consecutive year.

COACH OF THE YEAR
Peter Gorfida
Stafford
16 years
Led the Indians to their first Va. AAA state title beating George C. Marshall, 80-115.
Won four major invitationals, including The Festival at Great Meadow.
Won Commonwealth District Championships for the second year.
Placed second in the Northwest Regional meet.

FIRST TEAM
Brian Burke

Senior
Repeat All-Met. Won second consecutive Washington Catholic Athletic Conference championship. Won the Catholic Invitational held in Norfolk, Va. Plans to attend Stanford.

Brad Einboden

Junior
Won Southern Maryland Athletic Conference championship. Placed second at Palotti Invitational. Second in Md. Catholic State meet.

Dustin Hood
Stafford
Senior
Led the Indians to their first Va. state AAA title by placing fifth in the state. Placed second in the Commonwealth District Championships.

Josh Horton
Marshall
Senior
First place at the Liberty District Championships. Second at the UMBC Invitational. Fourth place in the Va. AAA state championship meet.

Gene Manner
West Potomac
Senior
First-time All-Met. Won The Festival at Great Meadow. Second at Georgetown Prep Invitational. Second in Patriot District and third in Northern Region championships.

Eric Post
Chantilly
Senior
Repeat All-Met. Won Bull Run Invitational and Concorde Districtmeets. Second in the Northern Region meet and third at the Va. AAA state meet. Plans to attend the University of Florida.

Won Maryland 4A state and regional championships. Set course record (16:27) at the Hereford Invitational. Led team to first place in 4A West and second in 4A state championships.
