Won pentathlon at high school national championships in Syracuse. Virginia AAA champion in long jump and 55 hurdles. Had best performance this season of 7.26 in 55 hurdles, 23 feet 8 inches in long jump, 6-8 in high jump, 46-6 in triple jump, 42-9 in shot put, 6.5 in 55 meters, 31.3 in 3000, 1:07.08 in 500.

Guided Warriors to DCIAA championship. Led Northeast D.C. school to 10 straight championships from 1982-91.

In his fifth season, led Raiders to Howard County, Maryland 2A/1A South Region and state championships.

Senior
Repeat All-Met. Tied for area-best time in 500 (1:06.0). Maryland 3A state champion in three events.

Junior
Area-best in high jump in 6-8. Won Virginia AAA state championship. Placed sixth in national meet.

Sharif-Muse Karie

Sophomore
Virginia AAA Northern Region and state champion in 1,600 and 3,200 meters. Third nationally in 1,600 (4:14).

David Neubeiser
Gaithersburg
Senior
Two-time Maryland 4A indoor state champion in shot put. Area-best of 57-6 this season. All-Met in football.

Rob Pearce

Senior
Repeat All-Met. Virginia AAA Northern Region champion in 1,000 meters (2:33). Third in state in 1,600 meters.

Repeat All-Met. Area-best times in 300 (35.7), 400 (50.09) and 500 (tied at 1:06.0). No. 2 time in 55 hurdles (7.43).

Asha Porter

Undefeated in area in triple jump, with area-best time of 1:58.65. Eighth in 800 in national championships.

Senior
Tied for area-best time in 55 meter hurdles. Maryland Class 4A state champion in 55 hurdles.

Maryland 4A state champion in 800 meters. Area-best time of 1:58.65. Eighth in 800 national champions.
