    Player of the Year
    John Willi
Virginia AAA Patriot District player of the year.
The quintessential captain, led the Rams to the Patriot District title despite an injured right shoulder. Attacks and defends with equal vigor.
    Committed to Virginia Tech.

    Coach of the Year
    Jim Carden
Directed the Judges to their third straight Virginia AA Region II playoff berth.
Compiled a 103-21-5 record in six seasons at the Winchester school entering this year's state playoffs.

    First Team
    Kenny Arena | Oakton
Blending tenacity with intelligent decision-making, this defender was the backbone of Oakton's Virginia AAA Concorde District championship team. Many of the senior's six goals and six assists came on set pieces – finishing a teammate's cross with his head or shooting a free kick into the net.

    Joel Boyd | T.C. Williams
The senior's 0.67 goals-against average was the best among area Virginia AAA goalkeepers. He played every minute of every game, posting nine shutouts and never allowing more than two goals in a game.

    Brian Carroll | West Springfield
An explosive junior midfielder who moved from midfield to forward in midseason and had 12 goals and three assists before the region tournament. A member of the U.S. under-18 national team, Carroll has the skills to burn defenders one-on-one or make pinpoint passes to his teammates.

    Will Colglazier | McLean
The 6-foot-5 senior defender scored eight goals and assisted on three others while leading the Highlanders to 14 shutouts and their second straight Virginia AAA Liberty District tournament title.

    Ryan Hall | Herndon
Senior midfielder was considered the most dominant outside midfielder in the area this season and carried the Hornets to their second straight Virginia AAA Concorde District final appearance with four goals and an assist in the tournament. Committed to Syracuse.

    Christopher Kan | Langley
This physical defender was a major reason why the Saxons averaged under 0.75 goals against per game during the regular season. The senior sweeper will play soccer at Pennsylvania this fall.

    David Kinitsky | Jefferson
A three-year starter, the junior goalkeeper carried the Colonials on his back during several games this season. The team finished 6-6-2, but he maintained a 1.00 goals-against average while making 111 saves in 12 games.

    Rob Overton | South Lakes
Repeat All-Met. The four-year varsity starter registered 17 goals and 22 assists while providing the Reston school with an intimidating and steady force in the back. The senior defender committed to James Madison.

    Michael Nissim-Sabat | Chancellor
With equally impressive playmaking and finishing abilities, this senior forward helped the Chargers capture their third straight Virginia AAA Commonwealth District regular season title by notching 12 goals and four assists. Will play soccer at Mary Washington.

    David Stokes | Hylton
Using his 6-foot-3 frame to roam the entire field, the junior midfielder possesses uncanny grace for a player his size. Every pass from his foot is perfectly placed and getting past him is a difficult chore. Had three goals, three assists entering regional playoffs.

    Abe Thompson | W.T. Woodson
Perhaps the player most feared by his opponents, this junior forward missed several games because of commitments to the U.S. under-17 national team but scored an astonishing 16 goals in nine games. The Cavaliers were 7-2 with Thompson, 2-3-1 without him.
