Fourth-year coach at Alexandria school led Colonials to championships at Virginia State Invitational and AAA Northern Region meets.

FIRST TEAM
Kevin Burke
Walt Whitman
Sophomore
Two-time All-Met. Metro Championships diving champion for second straight year, winning with record 528 points. Won Montgomery County.

Jeremy Fain
Blair
Senior
Two-time All-Met. Metros and Montgomery County champion in 50-yard freestyle for second consecutive year. U.S. Junior National qualifier in 50 and 100 freestyle.

Jon Lowell
Lake Braddock
Sophomore
Virginia AAA Northern Region and State Invitational 100-yard freestyle champion. Virginia Invitational 50 freestyle champion.

J. P. Norvell

Senior
Two-time All-Met. Undefeated in the 500-yard freestyle. Two-time Metros 500 freestyle winner. 1994 U.S. Junior National champion in 200 butterfly.

Derek Smiley

Junior
Unbeaten against high school competition past two years. Two-time Virginia AAA Northern Region champion in 200 and 500 freestyles.

Jeff Somensatto

Sophomore
First in 100-yard butterfly (52.19) at National Catholic Invitational. Won 100 butterfly (51.77), 100 backstroke (51.83) at Washington Private championships.

Scott Werner

Sophomore
Two-time All-Met. 100-yard breaststroke champion (best of 58.05) at National Catholic Invitational. Won 100-yard breastroke (59.01) at Metros.
