The Washington Post honors the top high school athletes from:

About This Section
Coaches at more than 250 high schools in the Washington area were invited
to nominate top athletes from their sports. Selections were made by Washington
Post scholastic sports staff members Sean P. Flynn (cross-country), Josh Mitchell (field hockey). Brian Straus (boys' soccer) and Dave Yanovitz (girls' soccer). The
scholastic sports staff members selecting the All-Met football team were Darryl J. Caine, Heather A. Dinich, Tarik El-Bashir, Judith Evans, Sean P. Flynn, Jon Gallo, Alan Goldenbach, Todd Jacobson, Josh Leventhal, Angie Watts, Preston Williams and Dave Yanovitz.
