Player of the Year
D Ashly Kennedy, St. Mary's-Annapolis, Sr.
The pesky central defender carried the St. Mary's defense and led the Saints to their third consecutive Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A conference championship. In the IAAM-A championship game, Kennedy clinched the win in double overtime with her second goal of the season. Kennedy was named to the all-American team by the National Soccer Coaches' Association of America. Kennedy will play for the University of Maryland next year.

Coach of the Year
Peg Keiller, Quince Orchard
Under the fourth-year coach, the Cougars finished the year 10-1-1 and used clutch play to win the Maryland 4A championship, the school's first state title. After winning Montgomery County's 4A/3A West division and earning the fourth seed in the 4A West Region tournament, the Cougars marched to the state title game, in which Brooke Manger's goal in double overtime clinched the victory over Perry Hall. Quince Orchard won three of its five playoff games in overtime. Keiller is 36-16-2 at Quince Orchard.

First Team
GK Carly Rosin, Wootton, Sr.
Acrobatic keeper who also organizes team from the back had 28 career shutouts and allowed 20 goals during her four years as the starter for the Patriots.

D Megan Buescher, River Hill Sr.
Repeat All-Met had 16 assists and six goals in helping the Hawks to the Howard County championship. Was county co-player of the year.

D Sarah Duncan, Potomac School, Sr.
Four-year starter tied for team lead in goals with six despite playing defense. Helped carry Panthers to second-place finish in the ISL.

MF Nataly Arias, O'Connell, Jr.
Crafty midfielder had 12 goals and seven assists and was named WCAC player of the year. Named to the NSCAA all-American team.

MF Emily Haddad, Whitman, Sr.
All-state player scored four goals and had two assists for the Vikings and was named the most valuable player of Maryland's senior all-star game in November.

MF Heather Pearson, Good Counsel, Sr.
All-state, all-WCAC midfielder scored seven goals and had three assists in leading the Falcons to second place in the conference.

MF Sarah Sample, St. Mary's-Annapolis, Sr.
All-state midfielder scored nine goals and had five assists as the Saints won the IAAM-A conference title. Will play for George Washington.

MF Hayley Siegel, Centennial, Sr.
The co-Howard County player of the year had 11 goals and four assists and was named to the all-state team.

F Trista Choksi, National Cathedral, Sr.
The all-Independent School League selection led the Eagles to the league regular season championship. Will play for Yale next fall.

F Mick Imgram, O'Connell, Soph.
The two-time all-WCAC selection scored 13 goals and had nine assists to help the Knights claim the WCAC championship.

F Kathleen Vistica, Urbana, Sr.
Had 31 goals and eight assists to lead the Hawks to the Central Maryland Conference championship and the 3A West region final. Will play for Miami (Ohio).
