His performance helped the Hawks claim the closely contested team title, as well. Along with his state championship, Kuehne won the Monocacy Valley Athletic League and Frederick County meets, and he finished third in the 3A West Region. | 
| Coach of the Year | Dan Reeks, Sherwood In Reeks's second year at Sherwood, the Warriors won their first state championship since 1979. Reeks and assistant coach Ron McGaw led the Warriors to Knights Invite title as well as second-place finishes in Montgomery County and the 4A West Region. At the Maryland 4A meet, Sherwood's top five finished among the top 25 runners. | 
First Team Steven Duplinsky, Georgetown Prep, Soph. Won the Interstate Athletic Conference championship and took titles at the Mercersburg Invitational and the St. John's/Prospect Hall Invitational. Ricky Flynn, Damascus, Jr. At the Maryland 4A meet, Flynn won a close race in 16:35, the fastest time in any classification. Was third in Montgomery County and the 4A West Region meets. David Groff, Westfield, Sr. Won the Monroe Parker and Glory Days invitationals, was second in the Virginia AAA Northern Region meet and sixth in the state. Will run for William & Mary. Andrew Jesien, Walter Johnson, Jr. Maryland 4A runner-up won crowns at the Holy Child Invitational, William & Mary Invite, 4A West Region meet and Montgomery County championships. Christo Landry, Jefferson, Sr. A repeat All-Met, Landry was Virginia AAA Concorde District and Northern Region champion and was fifth in the state meet. Has committed to run for William & Mary. James Scheiner, Westfield, Sr. Fork Union Invitational champion was second in the Virginia AAA Concorde District, third in the Northern Region and eighth in the state meet. Steven Tobin, West Springfield, Sr. Tobin won the Virginia AAA Patriot District meet and Salesianum Invitational but had his finest performance in winning the state title (15:46).
