About This Section Coaches from more than 250 schools in the Washington area were invited to nominate top athletes from their sports. Selections were made by The Washington Post's scholastic sports staff: Josh Barr, Rich Campbell, Liam Dillon, Sean P. Flynn, Jon Gallo, Alan Goldenbach, Andrew Levine, Daniel Lyght, Charlie Moss, Eli Saslow, Angela Watts and Preston Williams.
