Star Power

Finishing first at regional. Saving a penalty kick in the state final. Running for 180 yards in the biggest game of the season. That's how these high school athletes made names for themselves. And it's how they made the All-Met teams.

About the Photos
The photos in this section were taken at MCI Center in Washington. All of the athlete and coach of the year photos were taken by The Post's Preston Keres, as were the team photos. Special thanks goes to Matt Williams of Washington Sports and Entertainment.
